Restart your Android
If the apps you have on your device are using too much memory, that will cause all kinds of problems not just with Spotify, but with the other applications you have on your smartphone or tablet. The easiest way to free up the memory is by restarting your device, as it will kill apps and its processes that are running in the background and affect the memory usage. So, press and hold the Power button, and when the power menu shows up, click restart.
Clear app cache
The next thing that you should do is clear the app cache. It is a simple thing to do: go to Settings > Apps (on some Android smartphones and tablets it is Application Manager, App Manager, or Manage Apps), find Spotify among the apps, click on it and then tap Clear cache.
Update the app
You should make sure that the app is up to date. To do that, open the Play Store Application, tap on three horizontal lines to open the menu, and then click on “My apps & games”. When a new window opens, find Spotify, and if you see “Update” tap on it. You can update all your apps if you want by tapping on “Update all”.

Reinstall the app
If the previous solutions didn’t work, you should completely remove the app from your Android, and then you should install it again. Fresh install often helps! To uninstall the application, go to Settings, tap on Apps (App Manager, Manager Apps or Applications depending on the device), find Spotify, tap on it and then tap “Uninstall”. Restart your device, then go to the Play Store and download Spotify again.
